Is Sports-Betting Legal in Masachusetts?
Gov. Charlie Baker signed Bill H 5164 into law on 20th August 2022 making Massachusetts the 37th state in the United States to legalize sportsbetting. No launch date has been set, but a better idea of when to expect a launch will follow the Massachusetts Gaming Commission meeting on September 8th.
The law allows for 15 gambling platforms, but bans most betting on in-state college sports.
